We completed the interior design for a new luxury retirement village, The Shires, for Michael Blanning Trust Housing Association. Set within beautiful communal gardens and on the doorstep of the historic Birmingham suburb of Moseley; voted ‘The Best Urban Place To Live’ by The Sunday Times.

The village includes 72 luxurious 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, a guest suite, restaurant, bar / lounge, hair salon, wellbeing suite, craft room, library, shop, village hall, and outdoor dining and relaxation areas.

Each area has been designed with independent yet social living in mind, within a vibrant purpose-built community to help residents get the most from retirement. A strong sense of community sits at the heart of The Shires; a place where old friends are welcomed and new friendships are forged around shared interests and passions.

We have designed with five star quality and beautiful and contemporary style in mind, to match the exceptional build quality. We worked with furniture solutions provider Collaborate to source the ideal furniture for the various spaces and to compliment the surrounding artwork and colour schemes.
