Planning permission was approved for the refurbishment of a large, five-storey (including basement) office building in central Nottingham. The aim is to remodel the complete interior and upgrade the building envelope, to transform the building into a contemporary office space.

 

The design intends to improve the current space by opening up the reception area and creating larger and more open office suits, with new windows and skylights to bring more natural light into these areas. Cycling facilities will be added to the basement, and the general working environment will be improved, as well as the appearance of the building.
